holy crap - i just finished the last of my finals. i expanded my 10 page rough draft of my paper analyzing "House of Leaves" using Lacan's conception of the Drive to a 16 pager. And I think it might actually be okay. I'm pretty happy with my argument - it's pretty tight, I hope. Well, it's as tight as I can make it right now. And I just emailed it in, so I'm done with it!!

all that's left to do now is write a speech, and I'm free.
